Core technology

Agentic AI

Agentic AI is the core technology behind our analytical platforms: autonomous, self-managing agents that continuously monitor complex infrastructure and energy networks, identify emerging risk patterns, and recalibrate models in real time with minimal human intervention.

These agents integrate across our risk intelligence, commodity analytics, and infrastructure assessment capabilities - sharing data and coordinating decisions across the full analytical ecosystem rather than operating in isolation.

Risk Assessment Infrastructure Planning

Infrastructure Risk Advanced Platform

"Atera Analytics' Advanced Platform gave us real-time visibility into infrastructure risk and optimisation that we simply didn't have before. It turned genuinely complex, multi-source data into scoring visualisations our stakeholders could understand and act on immediately."

Project Partner

About the project

This engagement, delivered with Zenzic UK, assessed the viability of an Advanced Platform for real-time infrastructure risk planning, providing optimisation suggestions and scoring visualisations for complex infrastructure scenarios.

Project objectives:

  • Merge and enhance diverse data sources using AI-driven techniques to improve data quality and accessibility for infrastructure risk assessment.
  • Develop advanced AI algorithms to optimise planning decisions, factoring in real-time conditions, infrastructure quality, and time constraints.
  • Deliver interactive visualisation views within the Advanced Platform, including infrastructure readiness heat maps, safety assessments, and operational compatibility ratings, accessible to multiple stakeholder groups including operators, local authorities, and infrastructure planners.
  • Develop dynamic risk scoring visualisations based on real-time conditions, infrastructure suitability, and operational requirements.

Logistics Planning & Resource Optimisation

About the project

In collaboration with Digital Catapult, we supported a major UK infrastructure operator (client name withheld by agreement) with logistics planning and the optimisation of resource usage under real-world operating conditions. The engagement addressed a relatively stochastic environment, where weather variability, energy disruption, and other externalities sit outside the client's direct control but materially affect performance and cost.

What we did:

  • Defined an optimisation model that balances externalities - weather variability, energy disruption, and related operational risks - against resource allocation decisions, rather than treating them as after-the-fact adjustments.
  • Modelled logistics planning and resource usage under stochastic conditions, structured to maximise profitability while remaining robust to uncertainty.
  • Built decision-support logic to compare alternative operating strategies against one another under externally-driven, uncertain conditions.

Platform architecture

MLOps Reference Architecture

Our platform follows the Google Cloud continuous-delivery pattern for machine learning (level 2, CI/CD pipeline automation). Geospatial, imagery and simulation data feed a governed feature store; an automated pipeline extracts, validates and prepares the data, then trains, evaluates and registers the models; continuous delivery serves them on-device, at the edge or in the cloud; and live monitoring detects drift and triggers retraining, so models stay accurate as conditions change.
